NEWS – GRIDDY NEVER AGAIN

In an electrifying first for the Symbolympic games, the much-hyped debut of the “Griddy” had fans buzzing with anticipation! Designed to captivate the younger generation, this new addition promised to bring flair and excitement to the field. And boy, did it deliver—though maybe not in the way anyone expected! Contestants showcased a wild spectrum of Griddy variations, with some performances teetering on the edge of “are they ok?”. It was a spectacle of flailing limbs and bold moves that left the crowd both entertained and bewildered.

NEWS – BATTLE FOR SILVER

Terry of Team USA dominated the competition, effortlessly clinching the gold medal with a performance that left everyone in awe. But the real drama unfolded in the battle for the silver and bronze medals, with a nail-biting three-way tie between Greg and Zach of Team Italy and Audra of Team Australia. The tension was palpable as Greg was the first to be knocked out, setting the stage for an intense showdown between Audra and Zach. An epic back-and-forth clash began, with each round ending in a tie, pushing both competitors to their limits. Finally, after several thrilling rounds, Audra delivered the decisive blow, securing the silver and leaving Zach to proudly claim the bronze.

NEWS – BURNETT CHOOSES VIOLENCE
Competitor Scott Burnett of the Canadian Team was disqualified from the Cup Pong tournament as he viscously and totally on purpose hit the pregnant camera lady in a fit of frustration at his mediocre performance on the field. Then, in a very un-sportsman like showing, he laughed and cheered about it. Luckily, the unnamed pregnant lady escaped with only minor injuries and her unborn child remains unborn.
